Baba Taher, who lived towards the end of the 4^th century and the beginning of the 5^th century, is one of the great poets and mystics of his time. He is also one of the most famous Iranian couplets who, over time, could not forget his fascinating couplets written in the Pahlavi language.

The tomb of Baba Taher Oryan belongs to the contemporary period and is located on Baba Taher Square in Hamedan. The building has seen many demolitions and reconstructions over the centuries.
