Welcome to Iran! After having a short rest in Hotel, we will off to visit different touristic places such as The Nasir-ol-mulk Mosque (The Pink Mosque) the most famous mosque in Shiraz from Qajar dynasty, it is famous for color lights during the sunrise. The mosque called Pink due to the color of tiling in its interior design. Then, Eram Garden (UNESCO’s World Heritage Gardens) where we will get more familiar with the history of famous Persian Gardens. Now a day, Eram Garden is known as botanical garden under Shiraz University of agriculture, then we will continue with The Karim Khan Citadel or Arg of Karim Khan. The Arg is located in the downtown of Shiraz, it was built in 1766 as a living quarter of Karim Khan the ruler of the Zand dynasty. Then a few meters away, we will visit The Vakil Complex includes The Vakil Mosque, The Vakil Bath and The Bazaar. During the Zand era, Karim Khan was willing to have a complex of mosque, bathhouse and bazaar in a place same as Naghsh-e Jahan Square in Isfahan.

We will have a full day excursion of Pasargadae, Persepolis (UNESCO’s World Heritage Site) and Nagsh-e-Rostam (Necropolis). Three of the most important and popular historical sites of Iran belonging to Achaemenid Era. First of all we are going to the ancient city of Pasargadae in order to visit the tomb of Cyrus the Great, a first person who wrote the charter of human rights in history. Then, to better understand the antiquity of Iranian art and science we visit Takht e Jamshid (Persepolis) foremost ancient historical site in Iran located in Shiraz as the heartland of Persian culture. We are going to see the magnificent Persepolis with the monumental staircases, exquisite reliefs and imposing gateways that leave you in no doubt how grand this city was and how totally dominant the Achamenid empire that built it. After that, we are going to visit Naghsh-e Rostam or the royal cemetery of four most influential kings of Achaemenid Era, an outstanding part of the Marvdasht cultural complex.

Full day excursion to Firuzabad to see The Qashqai Nomads. We spend time in their tents, get to know their way of living & food making, hike around in the area and enjoy the nature. In the evening, we will drive back to Shiraz.

Check out after breakfast, we will drive towards Yasuj, en route, we will visit the beautiful Margoon Waterfall literally meaning snakelike. We will spend our time in nature and enjoy the sceneries. Then continue our way to Yasouj.

We will drive towards Si- Sakht, a mountainous town near Yasuj, famous for its beautiful grape gardens, visit the beautiful nature, hike in the area of Kouh Gol (Flower Mountain), we then head to Khafr small village, located in Zagros highlands, known for its apple gardens, we will enjoy the beauty of Zagros range and hike in Zagros hillside; we may visit Qashqai nomadic tribes and their black tents.

Check out after breakfast, today we are off to visit one of the most beautiful cities of Iran. This spectacular city is called Kouhrang. In Persian, Kouhrang means The Colorful Mountain and this city is called Kouhrang because of the colorful vegetation. Koohrang is a land of spectacular scenery and pristine nature. This special region is home to the biggest and the most famous Iranian tribes which is called The Bakhtiari Tribe. Our first stop would be at Bakhtiari Tribe Camp, thus we will learn a lot about tribe’s living environment. Then, we will have short distance to Kouhrang Tunnel in Chelgerd city. The construction of this tunnel goes back to Shah Abbas I, they planned to annex the water from Kouhrang Mountain to the Zayandeh River.
O/N Kouhrang
Today we will proceed to visit an extremely rural village of Sar Agha Seyed, one of the most spectacular villages in Iran, it is famous because of its unusual architecture. The roof of each house is considered as the courtyard of the upper house, and also most of the houses have no window but a small entrance door. On the way to the village, we have the opportunity of visiting The Sheikh Ali Khan Waterfall one of the most attractive waterfall in the region. Before we leave the beautiful province of Chahar Mahal & Bakhtiari, on our way to Isfahan, we have time to visit the famous Zaman Khan Bridge, this historical bridge was constructed by the order of Zaman Khan the commander of Qashqai tribes during Safavid era. This bridge was the only means of communication between the Qashqai tribes during the Safavid period. Then we continue our way to the beautiful city of Isfahan.
O/N Isfahan
Today we will spend our full day at Meidan-e Naghsh-e Jahan (UNESCO World Heritage Site). We will have this chance of visiting historical monuments on the four sides of Naghsh-e-Jahan Square. The Shah Mosque is the most important mosque that has survived from the Safavid era in Iran. The features of this mosque are beautiful and artistic tiling, the architectural and visual relationship of the mosque and its four minarets with the square, and the reflection of sound under the dome of the mosque.
Then, Ali Qapu Palace built at the very end of the 16th century as a residence for Shah Abbas I, this six-storey palace also served as a monumental gateway to the royal palaces that lay in the gardens beyond with its impressive elevated terrace. Then, Sheikh Lotf Allah Mosque (Royal Mosque), which was belonging to royal family it is one of the architectural masterpieces of Iranian architecture that was built during the Safavid dynasty, standing on the eastern side of Naghsh-e Jahan Square. Our last stop in Isfahan is Qaysariyeh Bazaar where we could find precious objects there. In addition, there are two hundred two-story rooms around the square, which are generally the place of supply of Isfahan handicrafts.

Our day starts by visiting The Vank Church. This church is located in Jolfa district which is one of the historical neighborhoods of the Armenians of Isfahan and the church was built during the reign of Shah Abbas II. Vank means monastery in Armenian. After that, we will proceed to Isfahan Grand Mosque (UNESCO World Heritage Site), also known as Atiq Grand Mosque and Isfahan Friday Mosque, is one of the historical monuments of Isfahan, which dates back to the second century AH. The most important changes in the mosque took place during the Seljuk period; the architects of this period distanced themselves from the pattern of the “Arab Mosque”, and created a new style which became known as the “Iranian Mosque”. Now it is time to visit The Hasht Behesht Palace, a historical palace in the city of Isfahan, which was built during the Safavid period and in 1080 AH. The palace building is built on two floors in the middle of a large garden. The architectural style of this building is Isfahani style. Now, before we end our day in a beautiful square in Isfahan, we will visit the famous Chehel Sotoun Palace (40-column palace) which is another UNESCO World Heritage Site in Iran. Chehel Sotoun is a pavilion in the middle of a park at the far end of a long pool, built by Shah Abbas II to be used for his entertainment and receptions.

Check out after breakfast. Today we proceed to Kashan. En route, we will have this opportunity to visit another wonderful village of Iran, called Abyaneh (red village) that its people still wear traditional costume and have unique life style. In Kashan, we start our tours by visiting The Tabatabaei’s House. One the most famous houses in Kashan dated back to 1834. This architecturally magnificent house belonged to one of the most influential businessmen of Qajar era. Then we will continue with The Sultan Amir Ahmad Bathhouse (Qasemi Hammam) which goes back to the 16th century. Definitely this traditional bathhouse is the most beautiful bathhouse in Iran. Then we have time to visit the landmark of Kashan, which is The Fin Garden (UNESCO World Heritage Garden). This most well-known garden is famous for showing the unique structure of ancient Persian gardens. There is a mansion in this garden which dates back to Shah Abbas of Safavid dynasty. Our last destination in Kashan will be Sialk Archeological Hill. This 7500-year hill keeps a large part of Iranian history in its heart. Several objects have been revealed from the archeological excavations which belong to at least 3000 B.C.

Today we will check out early in the morning in order to move to Tehran. In Tehran we will start our site seeing by visiting The National Museum of Iran (since 1937). This museum has two sections, the pre-Islamic and Islamic era. In the pre-Islamic section we could find objects from the Lower Paleolithic period (1,000,000 years ago) to the beginning of Islamic period. Then we will have this opportunity to visit another UNESCO Heritage Site of Iran from 16th century, The Golestan Palace. This royal Qajar complex consist of several halls and museums such as Salam hall, mirror hall, marble throne and more. The coronations of Mozaffar-al din Shah and Ahmad Shah of Qajar dynasty and Reza Shah and Mohammad Reza Shah of Pahlavi were held in this beautiful Palace. After lunch we will spend our evening in The Grand Bazaar of Tehran. The Grand Bazaar of Tehran is among the longest in the world by more than 10Km in length. This old bazaar (more than 400 years old) consists of several shops, guesthouse, and Shah Mosque.

Our last day in Iran, we will have free time until departure time. Then, proceed to IKA in order to fly back to our home country.
