Welcome to Iran! After arrival at IKA we will go for a delicious breakfast at the airport. Before check-in at our hotel (check-in time is 14:00) we will have the opportunity of visiting the capital of Iran. Tehran is a busy city like any other capitals in the world. We will have time to visit highlights of Tehran. Before check-in at hotel, we will go to visit Golestan Palace (UNESCO World Heritage Site), one of the most famous palaces in Tehran from Qajar era. We will have a visit from the main hall (where 4 kings had their coronation) and the garden. Then we will move to visit The National Museum of Iran (since 1937). This museum has two sections, the pre-Islamic and Islamic era. In the pre-Islamic section we could find objects from the Lower Paleolithic period (1,000,000 years ago) to the beginning of Islamic period. Then, we will have lunch and head to Hotel. At the evening, it’s time to visit the wonderful Nature Bridge (Tabi’at Bridge) the largest pedestrian overpass built in Tehran, Iran. The 270- meter bridge connects two public parks—Taleghani Park and Abo-Atash Park—by spanning Modarres Expressway, one of the main highways in northern Tehran.
O/N Tehran
Today we will go to visit Tochal complex (local people call it Tehran’s look out point), then we will have some times to enjoy Tehran’s highest cable car in order to see the beautiful scenery of Capital. There, we will enjoy fresh mountainous weather of Tehran. Milad Tower (6th tallest tower in the world) is our last stop in Tehran. We will have the opportunity of taking a tour at observatory deck at the height of 312 m.
O/N Tehran
Check out after breakfast, and head to Tehran’s domestic airport in order to fly to Shiraz. After arrival in Shiraz we will off to visit different touristic places such as Eram Garden (World Heritage Site) where you will get more familiar with the history of famous Persian Gardens. Now a days, Eram Garden is known as botanical garden under Shiraz University of agriculture, then we will move to the Karim Khan Citadel or Arg of Karim Khan. The Arg is located in the downtown of Shiraz, it was built in 1766 as a living quarter of Karim Khan the ruler of the Zand dynasty. Then a few meters away, we will visit the Vakil complex such as the Vakil Mosque, the Vakil Bath and the Bazaar. During the Zand era, Karim Khan was willing to have a complex of Mosque, Bathhouse and Bazaar in a place same as Naghsh-e Jahan Square in Isfahan.
O/N Shiraz
Today we will visit Nasir al Mulk Mosque (pink mosque) the most famous mosque in Shiraz, it is famous for color lights during the sun rise. Then move to Hafez and Saadi Tombs, two famous Iranian poets (worldwide reputations) we will enjoy the holy environment there and by chance we will have Hafez Omen there. The last place in Shiraz is Shah Cheragh (King of lights) shrine. The shrine is famous for its tile working and mirroring.
O/N Shiraz
Today after check out from hotel, we will have a full day excursion of Persepolis (World Heritage Site) & Necropolis. Two of the most important and popular historical sites of Iran belonging to Achaemenes era. To better understand the antiquity of Iranian art and science we visit Takht e Jamshid (Persepolis), foremost ancient historical site in Iran located in Fars province as the heartland of Persian culture. We are going to see the magnificent Persepolis with the monumental staircases, exquisite reliefs and imposing gateways that leave you in no doubt how grand this city was and how totally dominant the Achamenid empire that built it..
Then, we will have an excursion to The Pasargadae (UNESCO World Heritage Site). In Pasargadae we will visit the ruins of the first palace of Achaemenid Empire and the Apadana Palace. There we will also visit The Tomb of Cyrus the Great (the founder of Achaemenid Empire). After that, we will continue our way to Isfahan
O/N Isfahan
Today after breakfast, we have the opportunity of visiting Vank Cathedral in a beautiful region of Jolfa. The cathedral is among the most famous areas in Isfahan since 1603. Our next stop is Meidan-e Naghsh-e Jahan (UNESCO World Heritage Site). We will have this chance of visiting historical monuments on the four sides of Naghsh-e-Jahan Square. The Shah Mosque is the most important mosque that has survived from the Safavid era in Iran. The features of this mosque are beautiful and artistic tiling, the architectural and visual relationship of the mosque and its four minarets with the square, and the reflection of sound under the dome of the mosque.
Then, Ali Qapu Palace built at the very end of the 16th century as a residence for Shah Abbas I, this six-storey palace also served as a monumental gateway to the royal palaces that lay in the gardens beyond with its impressive elevated terrace. Then, Sheikh Lotf Allah Mosque (Royal Mosque), which was belonging to royal family it is one of the architectural masterpieces of Iranian architecture that was built during the Safavid dynasty, standing on the eastern side of Naghsh-e Jahan Square. Our last stop in Isfahan is Qaysariyeh Bazaar where we could find precious objects there. In addition, there are two hundred two-story rooms around the square, which are generally the place of supply of Isfahan handicrafts.
O/N Isfahan
Today is our last day in Iran, we will check out the hotel, move to Kashan. Before leaving Isfahan we have time to visit two most famous bridges which we call them Khajoo and 33 pol (bridges) then head to Kashan to visit beautiful Fin Garden (World Heritage Gardens) then, transfer to IKA Intl Airport, we will have around 02 hours’ time to reach to the airport.
